how I work
I have always had a passion for writing, learning and talking!
And throughout my life I have been fortunate to hold a number of roles and jobs which have allowed me to share this love of learning and to pass that learning onto others.
I have an MA in English Literature, an M Litt in Women, Culture and Society, a Diploma in Life Coaching, a Teacher’s Certificate in Meditation and am currently working towards a Diploma in NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming).
I am an Associate Member of the Association of Coaching and hold a current Disclosure Scotland Certificate.
It is my aim at Forward Coaching to deliver coaching which is safe, supportive, creative and inspiring.
Today, I am happy to describe myself as a writer, coach and perpetual student; dabbler in yoga and pilates, lover of books and movies, and addicted to audiobooks and Yorkshire Tea!
Coaching conversations need to be spaces of trust, equality, confidentiality and safety. It is therefore important that you find a coach who you feel is right for you. To facilitate this, most coaches will offer you an initial complimentary contact.
I offer a free 40 minute exploratory session (via Skype, telephone or in person). Just call or email with your contact details to arrange a suitable date and time.
Sessions thereafter – are either in person (Dunfermline and surrounding areas) or via Skype - from anywhere - £60.
Discounted blocks of sessions are available to facilitate understanding and exploring your aims in a time-frame which works for you.
A FREE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER is available which includes self-coaching thoughts, tips and insights. When you sign up (at the bottom of this page) to receive the newsletter, you will be sent a free article ‘Life Coaching: Its Origins.’
As a freelance writer I am available to undertake commissioned articles on Health and Wellbeing - including self-care, self-coaching, coaching, mindfulness, meditation, NLP, and other related subjects.
See the Self-Coaching page for an update on the development and progress of all Forward Coaching's Self-Coaching literature.
